[Training] selflessly given but viciously driven

I want to say I'm sorry for stuff I haven't done yet

Wessex once again gave warm encouragement and comfort where Sam expected cold disappointment; he didn't quite know how to respond. Holding out the Chakram in front of himself, he tilted it so it was level, not tilted upwards, then nodded. He wasn't sure how long this sudden and seemingly patient respect would last, but while it did, he would do his best to learn.

"Alright, here I go again." He took a moment to really try and focus. Think about the amount of distance between them, as if he could somehow calculate it and give that information to the blade in his hand.

Sam threw it with the most strength his weedy arms could muster, a little determined noise leaving him as he gave it all he had. The blade spun out, further and further - and this time, went around Wessex's back before circling back to him. As soon as he saw the chakram go too far, he groaned and put his head in his hands, only just remembering to hold out his hand to catch it at the last minute. "And um, how much practice did you need? You seem pretty practiced at not getting hit, too." An embarrassed chuckle left him as his eyes followed the curve of the blade that wouldn't co-operate.

Things will shortly get completely out of hand
