The lightning crackles out and the dragon within him stirs and rages with, lightning crackling along his own lips despite how he reins it in. Instead, he pulses some understanding toward Wessex – a similar feeling of growing up in a bubble. But he hadn’t been here when the barrier had been up. He’d arrived just after it had fallen.
