And they're lucky in that the islands don't come or go in the time it takes them, and the Ark as well, is still bobbing merrily away in the near distance. Jack watches Milo and Locke load up the chest, waves a hand for them to take an oar each (sorry Melita, he doesn't trust you) and takes up a position scouting himself.
And away they drift, away and away into the great deep blue, joining up with the (heh) mothership and heading further out across the waves. It will still be some time before they reach their final destination, and honestly, as far as Jack is concerned, they can take their time. The mudflats of the Feverlands can wait.
