Relief works its way through Wessex from the bottom up, both at Edy’s straightforward answer and the content of it. Lingering for a moment, she seems to consider saying more as a silence falls between them. After a couple of beats too long, she smiles politely (if the Rapacious were to be looking at her) and nods briskly. “Great, thanks. We’ll be working on that soon, if you’d like to join in training.” In and out. Not so bad, though she’s under no illusions that this will ease the tension between them - nor will training, but it’s the only way to, you know, avoid dying again. The older blonde backs out of the room and shuts the door without much more, simply happy to check this off her list.
