Ray chuckled winked back. "But of course." It was nice to hear that her friend would be a steady customer. And if Seren did pursue her interest as a field medic, she'd be at Ray's shop often.
The vinegar smell had Ray scrunching her nose as well as she gave the pot one last check. Ray gave a nod. "I can understand that. It's respectable to want to know how to do it yourself. If you ever need help though, don't hesitate to ask." She gave her friend a warm smile, eager to help if she was needed.
As the color turned vibrant, Ray hummed in acknowledgment. "I think it's ready to strain and pour. Ready?" She questioned grubbing the colander and a clean jug. As the process was repeated, she continued. "I have. I like to document the herbs I find in both color and descriptions. But beyond work I also generally sketch in my notebook. And when I'm feeling inspired I go back and add color. It's usually pictures of scenery that catches my eye as I'm out exploring." Ray explained as they worked.
