A large part of Wessex wonders if she would have gotten the same reception if she’d announced her presence with words instead of a knock. Too late for either of them now, she does as bid and opens the door, taking in the space she's cultivated with some obvious surprise. Edy, reading? Her eyebrows almost reach her hairline as she forgets herself for a minute and lingers in the doorway, half-in, half-out, hand on the doorknob and willing to commit to either decision. “Hey, Edy,” she says, trying to sound both casual and efficient at the same time. “Quick question. When the war comes, are you going to help fight or help or none of the above?”
