When she walks in it will be to find him at his desk, a few bits of parchment scattered about him with a mix of sketches and notes; if Aurelia looks close, it's everything (and more) that transpired yesterday at the Slagveld. And Jack? He's in the same clothes, smoke smudged and all, and he doesn't look up from where he's writing his last notes.
"You are alive. That's good," he murmurs. "...And you have a new face, too."
