Deimos -

There's a new creature in the rivers of the Greatwood. The locals have taken to calling them Void River Stars. They seem to drain the life force of anything that gets too close. A friend of mine nearly lost her life to them.

We've posted warnings, but if you know anyone traveling this way, please warn them to be vigilant.

They were dark in color, and appeared to be more active than they used to be. River stars are supposed to wait for prey to come to them, not seek it out, but I swear they went after my friend.
