What do you get when two ruthless assassins raise their daughter travelling through the wildest reaches of Caido? Take one look at Theea and you'll get a pretty good idea. Cheerful and tenacious in equal measure, and curious beyond all else, she began her journey on a mission to find those her mother once called family. And find them she did, soon rubbing elbows with demigods, leaders and even ghosts from the past. Her determination is resolute, her thirst for knowledge unmatched. We can't wait to see where her next adventure takes her!

It's been a long time since Danta has come to The Mountain's Roar. Even for a soul as fiery and chaotic as his own, the drum of pounding water has always been soothing, managing to stifle every thought and sound that tries to intrude. He's always thought this would be a perfect place to get murdered, honestly, but it doesn't stop him from indulging in its beauty for a moment.
Sitting on an outcrop of rock to watch the rich crimson spill and froth into the deep, waiting pool, he swings one long leg, the other tucked up so he might rest his chin on his knee. Only a few minutes, and then it's back to work for the Maverick. It's a long, freezing cold road back to the Hollowed Grounds and his newfound seat of power, and were it not for the promise of an ever burning fire on the horizon, he might just stay here forever.

Neoma
She stood at the bottom of the waterfall, the pouring curtain of sheer force rang in her ears. Neoma reached out her hand. The cold burned her. She reached her hand further in, but the rest of her body stiffened and she pulled it back out again.
She screamed at the water at the top of her lungs, then thrust herself at the rock beneath her feet. Mist surrounded her and scathed her cheeks, like embers. She held back her tears and she looked at her hands, whose warmth used to be soothed by the cool of a calm spring, but now yearned for the singe of lava’s molten embrace.
Neoma faced the rocky cliff beside the falling water, and shifted into a snake-like chain of solid rock. Her clothes melted into her Rockslider form, and she dug into the cliff face of the water-fall, tunneling her way up and up.
Then her form reassembled itself into her snow-white hair and silken garments, as she alighted near the top of the water. Facing the peril of the fall with sunken eyes and a half-hearted smile.
“What have I to lose, anyway?” Her feet planted firmly on the damp rock, while her eyes teased the precipitous drop.

One might expect a few oh no, no, help!s or you've got so much to live for!s from any able to spy Neoma's form at the top of the waterfall. And Danta notices it too, in truth, and while he's much more likely to opt for a call of do a flip!, this time around he chooses diplomacy. Being Theocrat of the Hollowed Grounds must be rubbing off on him, or something.
Either way, after squinting to make sure it really is a person up there - and it is, and one he recognises at that - he shifts to stand on the rocky outcrop, cupping his hands around his mouth to amplify the sound. "What are you doing up there?" he calls, wondering if the echo of his voice alone will be enough to topple the frail woman.
