What do you get when two ruthless assassins raise their daughter travelling through the wildest reaches of Caido? Take one look at Theea and you'll get a pretty good idea. Cheerful and tenacious in equal measure, and curious beyond all else, she began her journey on a mission to find those her mother once called family. And find them she did, soon rubbing elbows with demigods, leaders and even ghosts from the past. Her determination is resolute, her thirst for knowledge unmatched. We can't wait to see where her next adventure takes her!
Congratulations, Theea!

The boys struggle a bit. More than a bit. They get there in the end, though. Paige claps and cheers as they get it up the beach and into their new hideout. The Attuned jogs after them, assessing the situation as she approaches, pursing her lips as she places her hands on her hips. "You sure, Ever? I can help with the boat." She absolutely could. She was plenty capable even if she was smaller than the two boys. Paige waits a moment longer before giving in and going to look for the wood instead. The boys could handle the boat.
Off she goes, heading back down the beach to find some more of the driftwood from earlier, carrying two pieces at a time until there is a nice little pile at the tree line for them to pick through.

"Okay! We can do this," Mateo tells Ever, sounding more confident than he feels. As Paige disappears to get wood (and is very successful, by the by), the two boys struggle and heft at the boat, eventually managing to lean it up and wedge it against one of the larger palm trees. The result is a fetching little lean-to, good to sit in the shade or hide from any rain should it sprinkle down onto the beach.
"I think now we just need to use the wood to make a boundary - a fence or something - and clean the place up a bit. I've got an idea to finish up!" And with that the boy is gone, sprinting away back onto the beach with a speed that suggests he's going to sleep very well tonight.
Last round, boys and girls!
One person to make a fence/boundary with the gathered wood, another to clean up the hideout area. (Mostly by removing debris). No post order!
Sunlit Shadows (mastered) | The user can read the surface thoughts and emotions of those within a 60ft radius. Control is excellent. Note: "Thoughts and emotions" include anything written in a character's narration in a post.
Type: Grey | Style: Offensive | Level: Mastered
Deadly Recall | Can recall 1, or 2, or 3 of her feathers to her hand, within a range of 30ft. Recalled daggers do 1/2 damage when recalled.
Rescue (Mastered) | Remi can bring a fellow Old God demigod to his side in a time of crisis for three concurrent posts. One use per thread. If the summoned demigod also has mastered this ability, they can remain until the end of the thread.
Ever, frowning at his friend's back as he promptly disappears, decides to clean. It isn't because he's trying to bend gender norms by not having Paige do it, nor to continue some innuendo about the girls' success with wood. Simply put, Mateo likes to clean.
Not only is there a good amount of dust in addition to the sand, but all the debris laying around is a trip hazard just waiting to happen. And on that note, he should probably put together a small first aid kit to keep in here as well. Just to be safe.
Looking happier than he has been through the duration of this little adventure, Everest tidies and tackles the inside of their new hideout area joyfully. He's even whistling under his breath.
Off Mateo goes, leaving Ever and Paige to sort out the base themselves. She braces her hands on her hips, watching Ever for the span of a few breaths, a smile curling on her lips as he cleans their space. He's good at it. Far better than Paige would ever be. She was prone to shoving things under her bed instead of actually putting things away. The young Attuned turns her attention to her own task, finding a few sticks to use as stakes, driving them into the ground.
She carefully sets up the wood on the little cross sections made by the stakes, creating a clear perimeter around their new hideout. Except it's a little obvious and that just won't do. Paige grabs a few palm fronds, attempting to cover up the wood a little more, but it isn't like it matters. The boat is a dead give away.

MATEO
Listen, it doesn't matter if it's more of a right-hereout than a hideout, not right now. In fact, it helps Mateo a great deal when it comes to finding his friends again, the boy marching through the palms and the undergrowth and smiling as he sees them both. "We should get a flag for our boat," he says, as though that makes even a small amount of sense.
In his hands, he holds three ice cream cones (of course). Two are chocolate flavoured - for he and Paige - and the other is a plain vanilla cone for Ever. He knows his friend, and he knows he's not going to be happy with anything but plain. "To the cool kids club!" He grins after handing out the cones, cheersing with the cone and flumping to sit down on the sand.
AND IT'S A WRAP! Thanks kids, for all your help :) This PQ is DONE!
