What do you get when two ruthless assassins raise their daughter travelling through the wildest reaches of Caido? Take one look at Theea and you'll get a pretty good idea. Cheerful and tenacious in equal measure, and curious beyond all else, she began her journey on a mission to find those her mother once called family. And find them she did, soon rubbing elbows with demigods, leaders and even ghosts from the past. Her determination is resolute, her thirst for knowledge unmatched. We can't wait to see where her next adventure takes her!
Congratulations, Theea!

At heart, Celosia was a politician and a humanitarian. Having fangs and being in a new world didn’t change that in the slightest, but the lack of political stimulation was really getting to her. Her mind was one that was never able to stay still for very long, so the opportunity for knowledge gathering was one she couldn’t deny.
The young woman walked with silent steps towards the Atheneum, her gaze passing over the Temple when she passed it, a chill that had nothing to do with the weather rushed through her. She was still hesitant in entering the Temple, but no way in hells was she going back into that shrine. She’d heard that another one had been discovered in the Glade, but she had yet to decide whether or not she would want to risk that kind of attention again. Not any time soon anyway.
Stepping into the Atheneum, Cel found herself captivated by the scene. It was beautiful in an ancient kind of way, and she wondered just how old the books and tomes were. The area that was caved in drew her interest, but there was no way she was going to get in there, especially not without help, so she brought crimson-toned eyes to the volumes within reach.
She pressed her lips together, taking a dusty tome off of a shelf that sat about eye-level for her. There was no title or outer markings, only bound with cracking leather. It looked quite old, and when she opened it, it was written in another language, one that she didn’t recognize in the slightest. Her gaze flitted around the many books in the large room, and she couldn't help the surge of curiosity that filled her, wanting to know more about what could be hidden in the bindings of so many new texts.

For once, Isla was not at the Atheneum in search of medical texts. She thought she had found everything there might be on them in the library, and almost all were in a language she couldn't possibly understand. It was true that she was able to discern some things from diagrams, and that had been infinitely helpful in its own way, but it wasn't a written explanation. No, today she slipped into the dusty halls to find something monstrous. Or specifically on a particular kind of monster.
The antivenom she'd been attempting to create was going slowly at best, given the lack of medical or scientific equipment. Remi's aid in recreating her tools had been vital, but it still wasn't enough to cure poisons. As she ducked inside, a lantern held aloft for light, she couldn't help but spot Celosia already perusing the stacks.
"Find anything interesting?" she asked with a polite smile.
Cel had heard Isla approaching before the woman had announced herself, but she hadn’t looked her way before hearing her voice. The former duchess quirked her brow, lifting her nose from the book with a closed-lipped smile.
”It seems everything’s interesting in this place,” Cel said, not really answering the woman’s question. In truth, she wasn’t sure if she found something interesting. She wasn’t sure what she found. So many of the texts she was looking at were in a language she had no hope of understanding. The former duchess spoke many languages fluently, but those were all from back home in Northwind. This world… Well, she would certainly need some kind of basis to begin to have even a hope of deciphering and understanding the new languages.
She took the book in her hand, approaching Isla, and would show her the interesting texts. ”A lot of the books in here seem to be like that. I was hoping to find some kind of translation text, but no luck so far. Are you looking for anything in particular?”

"You aren't wrong in that regard... it was a silly question really, wasn't it?" Isla's lips quirked up in a smile, and she lifted the lantern higher as Celosia approached so she could better look at the text she held. The squiggles and symbols were impossible and frustrating to look at, the healer sighing and shaking her head. "These books far outnumber those I can read, and I haven't found anything like a translation text either. I did meet someone, though, who had begun to decipher one of the books..."
Indeed, Jigano's ability to translate even a small part of the tome he'd been carrying was impressive. He might have his hands full with all of these books, if he did succeed in creating a cipher.
"Me? Oh, I was trying to find... well. Anything on that creature which lurks around the Spire. When the group of warriors attacked it, one of them was bitten. It seems its fangs contain venom, and I'm trying to create an antidote. Any information on it would help..." She hadn't found anything yet, though.
