The sun rises, low and slow, that first Deepfrost morning, no matter where in the world you might be. Whether it's a soft chill in the air from the tropics or the first hearty snowfall in more northern regions, the season of rest has come to blanket Caido. It's time to put up your feet, take stock of the year, make plans for what's to come and relish the hard-won peace in the wake of The Family's complete departure.
Or, you know. Perhaps you plan to balk at rest and have the year go out with a bang. Hard work keeps you just as warm as bundling under a blanket and hibernating, after all. Regardless, whatever your decision, make sure to wrap up warm and don't let your toes get too cold while you're having fun!
And perhaps keep an eye on the sky overhead - rumour has it there might be a rare blood moon on the way...

This event will run from September 1st to October 31st. All requirements must be met to complete the event. Multiple characters can participate, but the threads do not carry across! (I.E. Both characters must complete all threads to gain +2 stats each).
Please use the Seasonal Event prefix in your thread titles. Once all requirements are met, post them here with your OOC account, linking the necessary threads and where you'd like your +2 stats to be allocated! Threads must be archived before the end of the season in order to be accepted.
1. Complete a thread showing your gratitude for something, whether it's for a person, a place, or something else entirely!
2. Complete a thread doing something cozy, e.g. sitting by a fire at night, making a hot chocolate, cooking something hearty, knitting etc.
3. Complete a thread helping your region (or, if nomadic, a region of your choice) prepare for LongNight by stocking up on food/firewood, cleaning up, or fortifying buildings against the cold and dark.
4. Participate in the Feast of Bells SWE! This will occur on the last evening before LongNight begins and will be linked here when the time comes.
PLEASE NOTE: The Starfall plot and any residual void shenanigans have now officially completed. You will no longer find any void flora/fauna, and any cured individuals will no longer see the shadows of infection in others.
