inviting myself in - Wessex - 02-19-2020
The promise of a new land means that there’s new information to be had, found either legally or otherwise. And since she can’t seem to work out whether Haulani has a library or not, she’s taken to stalking the streets looking for bookshop and rare artifacts stores. Having found one, the Wraith lies in wait for darkness, watching the shopkeeper lock up (ha, like that was going to keep her out) for the night from the shadows of the alley across the street. She waits until the rowdy troopers of the last call crowd disperse and then makes her move, using her strength to muscle open a window’s lock and sliding quietly inside.
Once there, Wessex takes her time, perusing the books until she finds two that seem promising.
