Jack will fall asleep dreaming of the things Flora would do, leeching her ambition and morphing it with his own until the Torchline of his subconscious is shored up by little more than their combined ego.
A soft hum escapes his lips, the touch of her fingers pleasant enough against the residual pounding in his head to remain tolerable long after he succumbs to sleep, and its with a sigh that the captain's body finally relaxes to heal and recover.
And what a rare treat for a fledgling goddess, to have the islands' iron fist tucked up in her lap. Let's just not think too hard about who is wearing the puppet strings at any one time.
